This 7-night retreat takes place in Montezuma, a town in the southern part of Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, from January 22-29. Costa Rica is considered a Blue Zone, where people are the healthiest and live the longest… after this retreat, you’ll understand why.

What’s Included:
At Anamaya, all your needs are taken care of to the highest level. This exquisite retreat includes:
8 day / 7 nights Accommodation in a beautiful cabina with magnificent ocean and jungle views.
3 locally sourced and organic (when possible) meals and one snack daily prepared by Anamaya´s incredible chef Jeff. **
2 daily yoga classes. A morning Flow class and an early evening Yin class each day.

Two workshops - Breathwork and Mula Bandha.

Anamaya is an Eco Friendly Boutique Hotel and retreat center located on a jungle-covered hillside overlooking the Gulf of Nicoya with 270 degrees of epic ocean and coastline views. Near the quaint bohemian town of Montezuma, known for its long stretch of white-sand beaches, perfect for surfing in the daytime and afternoons. Anamaya is a perfect destination for those who want to stay active with yoga, surf, and exploration of Montezuma and Playa Grande.
About Your Teachers:
Rony + Angela
The beautiful partnership between Rony and Angela began in 2013 thanks to the magical energy that brought their worlds colliding at this very same retreat center - Anamaya. Angela enrolled in a retreat led by Rony and there was an instant soul connection formed between the two. Inspired and encouraged by Rony, Angela also began leading retreats at Anamaya shortly after. Over the years they maintained a deep friendship of support, shared passion of yoga and respect for each other's teachings and gifts. Although they were from two opposite worlds; Rony from Los Angeles, California and Angela from Alberta, Canada, they planted a seed to both come back as teachers and to hold a retreat in the very same space that had such profound impacts on both of them individually.
Fast forward a few years, and Rony and Angela’s goal to collaborate has finally taken root! Their intention is to create a safe and open environment that allows each participant to experience a “joyful journey” towards self discovery and rejuvenation. Rony and Angela are so blessed and excited for this opportunity to share space, knowledge and time with all who choose to bloom with them!

Anamaya has an assortment of 14 stylish and unique rooms and cabinas, designed with preservation as its focus. To take advantage of the gorgeous ocean and jungle views, each room comes equipped with ceiling fans and A/C, in addition to private deck and hammocks.

Anamaya offers two lovely “dormitory style” at Anamaya that accommodate 5 women. Both Dorms have stunning ocean views, are a great option for a group of friends, or for solo travelers looking to meet new friends. These shared rooms are for women only and have their own private bathroom with shower.

Deposit and Cancellation:
A deposit of $1000 USD is required to secure your room and spot.
The remainder of the balance is due November 22, 2021..
Cancellations made prior to the retreat November 22nd will receive a 50% refund of deposit.
Cancellations made after November 22, 2021 will receive NO refund of their deposit.

SPECIAL COVID RELATED CANCELLATION:
If you need to cancel the retreat within 30 days of the retreat start date due to a Covid-related issue, you will receive 50% of you deposit if you provide the following documentation:
You provide a letter from your doctor stating you have tested positive for Covid-19, with a copy of the positive result.
You provide a letter from your doctor stating you live with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19, with a copy of the positive result.
You provide a letter from your doctor stating you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.
There are government restrictions that stop traveling due to the pandemic.
Additional Information and Booking
Check in at Anamaya is January 22 at 3pm.
Check out is January 29 at 11am.
Airfare is not Included in the price of the retreat. Each participant is responsible for arranging their own airfare to Costa Rica and within Costa Rica. Please ensure that you schedule your flight time to access your transport to Anamaya.
Transportation to Anamaya is not included in the price of the retreat. Please review this helpful document for all the transportation options which can be viewed HERE.
As of this posting, the CDC does not recommend traveling internationally if you are not fully vaccinated, therefore proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within 3 days of departure will be a requirement to attend this retreat.
US travellers: A negative covid test is currently required by the USA to re-enter after the retreat. Covid test must be administered within 3 days prior to departure. A BinaxNOW home kit is the most economical and recommended way to go about this or you can arrange a test in Costa Rica. The BinaxNOW kits are available at CVS for about $25. For more info on Binax see HERE and HERE. If you want to get tested in Costa Rica, there is a town 15 minutes from the retreat center that offers Covid testing for $175 USD.
Canadian Travellers: A negative covid test is required to re-enter Canada and registration thru ARRIVECan. As of July 5, 2021, fully vaccinated travellers qualify for exemption from quarantine, hotel stays and 8-day testing. Non-vaccinated travellers must still quarantine. Travel Insurance: Is required per Costa Rica law if you are not vaccinated. For those who need it, it is approximately $11 per day for the minimum coverage. More info HERE. As of August 1, 2021, vaccinated adults no longer need health insurance IF they show proof of vaccine from Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca or J&J. Proof must be demonstrated with a document showing full name, date of each dose, formula and lot number.
You will be required to fill out a Health Pass online and receive a QR code 72 hours prior to entry. Click HERE to view entry requirements.
You will need a passport that has at least 6 months of expiration left on it prior to your return on January 29th.
Please note that Covid 19 travel requirements are constantly changing and while I will always do my best to announce any news that I may have, it is the responsibility of the participants to remain up to date on changes that may affect travel to and from their country. Please check with your government and state mandates to stay prepared for your travel to and from Costa Rica.
Upon receipt of your deposit, a welcome email with further information, waiver, and more will be sent to complete the process! We look forward to having you join our retreat!
